Assistant Pastor Ivan

Though he was born in the Philippines, Pastor Ivan and his family moved to Canada in 2005. As a young boy, he was faithful to church and learned many Bible stories, memorized countless verses, and even read his Bible completely through twice before the age of 10. However, something was still missing in his life.

He only had head knowledge and had never truly accepted Jesus into his heart. But on March 29, 2010, at the age of 12, Pastor Ivan finally accepted the gift of salvation after hearing a powerful message from Evangelist Lou Rossi regarding the Rapture. He was led to the Lord that same night by his dad and was baptized the following Sunday, on April 4, 2010.

Pastor Ivan graduated from Pacific West Baptist College in June 2020, and was invited to join the GBC Staff that same year. On September 26, 2021, the church recognized and dedicated him as one of its Assistant Pastors.

Pastor Ivan serves in a variety of ministries, but his primary focus is on the Youth Ministry.
